Description
Ductless split-system air conditioners combine the zone control of
window or through-the-wall units, with the whole-house cooling
capabilities of central systems. Like central systems, they have
two main components, a compressor-condenser unit (outdoors) and an
air-handler containing an evaporator coil and a fan (indoors.) In
milder climates, some systems function as heat pumps, providing primary
heating as well as cooling. The compressor/condenser section is
located outdoors, and the relatively quiet evaporator/fan unit is
located within the indoor space to be cooled. The two halves are
linked only by the coolant tubing.
Ductless mini-split systems solve the problem of cooling and/or
heating a space when adding ductwork is impractical or too expensive.
The matched combination of outdoor condenser and indoor air handler fits
virtually anywhere, and is simple to install and economical to operate.

Easy and Fast Installations
Installation requires a hole less than 3" in diameter to run
refrigerant lines between indoor and outdoor units. Also, the indoor
section uses low voltage wiring.
There's a mini-split system to fit just about any installation, from
single rooms to expansive spaces. Our single
models offer an impressive array of capacities in both Air
Conditioning (A/C) and heat pump models.

Store Policy
Installation & Warranty Info:
Mega Air Conditioning recommends the installation of a Ductless Split System
to be done by a trained and qualified HVAC technician with the proper
knowledge and background. A trained technician will be able to judge the
best location for the air handling (evaporator) unit and also the correct
size for the area it has to cool. For assistance with all your technical
needs please contact our technical dept. at
sales@mega-ac.com should you experience an issue during the installation
or the initial startup of the system, you should have the technician that
installed the units contact Mega Air Conditioning. We cannot accept any
service or warranty calls from anybody but a licensed HVAC technician. We
have full technical support team available to help you throughout the
installation process. Mega Air Conditioning cannot be held liable for
improper installation and operation of any product purchased from our
company. Should a warranty issue arise where parts will need to be replaced,
an installation receipt will be required along with your Mega Air
Conditioning sales receipt. Failure to provide a receipt or invoice may
result in the warranty not being honored. Note: Warranties on mini split
air conditioners only include parts and do not include labor. The
licensed HVAC Technician who installs your air conditioner should always
provide you with a labor warranty (preferably for a full year to compliment
the manufacturers' parts warranty).
Warranty: there is 1 year parts and 5 years
compressor replacement only manufacturer’s limited warranty from the date of
purchase. Labor is not included in this warranty and is hereby expressly
excluded. Any defective product or components thereof may be replaced at
our/manufacturer’s option. The buyer shall be responsible for the process
and cost of returning the faulty product or part to us for replacement. We
will return the replaced items or parts to the buyer at our expense within
the warranty period. We shall not be responsible for faulty installation,
operation or maintenance of the product and as such we recommend
installation and assembly, where applicable, only by certified and qualified
professionals. It is the responsibility of each purchaser to determine
whether the particular product is compliant with and permissible for use
pursuant to the applicable rules, codes and/or regulations, if any, and
suitable for particular and/or intended use and/or operation therein. We
make no representations or warranties whatsoever concerning the suitability
of any merchandise for a particular use or purpose. Damage resulting from
failure to use, install or maintain the product in a manner consistent with
our/manufacturer’s recommendations shall render the warranty void. Mega Air
conditioning, at its option, may request a report from a qualified
technician prior to honoring a warranty claim. All warranties specifically
exclude any consequential and/or incidental damages.
